We are currently in pre-production for our first full length feature film, "Good Darts" The majority of the film will be shot in Newport as most locations have been secured. CAMERAS
SONY FX 6
The Sony FX 6 is an extremely versatile camera. It is used for everything from weddings and live music to feature films. It is capable of shooting in Sony Cinetone, S-Log and Raw when outfitted with the proper support attachments. It is the principle camera for most events and all film projects. It is also capable of shooting in the XAVC I codec which individually encodes each frame.Not only does this a produce superior quality, it also allows for the extraction of still images from anywhere on the timeline with ease.
SONY A7s 2
The Sony A7s 2 is a mirror-less camera optimized for video. It is a fantastic low light camera like the FX 6 and color matches well with the FX 6. Mounted on a 3 axis motorized gimble or a tripod, the A7s 2 is another extremely versatile camera used for any type of event or creative film project. It is the primary secondary camera for weddings and live events.
SONY FDR AX 100
The Sony AX 100 is a workhorse. It is used primarily for live sports and an additional camera for live events. Capable of shooting in 4k it is a great camera for b-roll, documentation and location scouting.
SONY PMW 100
The Sony PMW 100 is considered obsolete by today's standards, but still has some value as an additional camera for live events. It is also used to as an art film camera and a training aid. Lacking 4 K capability it is seldom used for commercial projects and will eventually be upgraded.
